Clinical research is an important arm of medical and veterinary studies where products are evaluated in healthy volunteers. Technical trials are performed in phases: I-IV with each phase showing unique outcomes. Africa Health Research Organisation whose mission is helping advance global public health has invested in the AHRO Clinical Research Facility.
The facility will be undertaking clinical trials in all phases. The facility will be based in Glasgow with its sister facilities being placed all over west Africa. Our clinical trials will be conducted to a high standard and will be headed by a facility manager who will be supported by the Director of Research, research physicians, research nurses, statisticians, research pharmacists and research nurse assistants.
