AHRO FELLOWSHIP

The AHRO Fellowship, launched in 2024, aims to provide professional development in public health, evidence-based medicine, and leadership for global health professionals who have shown the potential to play key roles in advancing global health.

The core curriculum of the fellowship program is a 2-year, part-time online fellowship that includes a 14-day residential training session at one of the AHRO Network’s offices. The program is designed to teach public health and evidence-based medicine methods, leadership and management, research, and project management, as well as to develop strong professional bonds with other health professionals around the globe.

This online program uses interactive, engaging methods that focus on participants’ individual projects. Selected participants are called AHRO Fellows and have the unique opportunity to become part of the global outreach of AHRO, using FAHRO in their names.

The AHRO Fellowship Program faculty consists of a team of internationally renowned researchers who design, teach, and provide support for AHRO Institute courses, as well as project advisors who provide mentoring and support for Fellows’ innovative efforts.

Individuals who complete their fellowship training are awarded a certificate.
