Dr. Aasma Siddiqui Joins AHRO for 6-Month Fellowship

Dr. Aasma Siddiqui, a Pakistani-trained microbiologist and Associate Professor, has joined the AHRO Center for Academic Research as part of a prestigious six-month fellowship program. Her fellowship, which begins in December 2024, will focus on groundbreaking research and academic contributions at the center.

Dr. Siddiqui will be working in the Multiomics Department, where her primary focus will be on the identification of biomarkers for HPV-associated breast cancer—a vital area of research with significant implications for global health. In addition to her research work, she will actively contribute to the center’s educational initiatives, sharing her expertise with students and faculty alike.

Working under the mentorship of Prof. Yaro, Dr. Siddiqui expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with AHRO’s talented team, stating, “It is an honor to be here.”

Her fellowship underscores AHRO’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and advancing research excellence in critical areas of health and science.
