The AHRO CTU ensures that research is conducted to the highest standards and remains internationally leading, we aim at developing research methods, management, and understanding of ethical research issues.

Our research team consist of international experts that conduct clinical trials across a wide range of areas. Our portfolio includes therapeutic trials, cohort studies, diseases association, and systematic review of evidence.

The AHRO CTU ensures that we adhere to local and international regulatory requirements and the principles of Good Clinical Practice. Our activities includes building the human resources, facilities, oversight and administrative systems that needed for conducting our ever-growing number of clinical trials.

Leading and Sharing

The AHRO CTU is based in Stevenage; the CTU currently supports the entire ARHO Programmes. We also work with several collaborators in UK and have developed academic and scientific partnerships across the globe by:

  • Developing research sites with partner institutes;
  • Provide training and mentorship to support new clinical trial teams

Clinical Research Ethics

The AHRO CTU is committed to developing a broader scope to our technical activities. Based on this, we facilitate utilization of qualitative research in emerging issues in research methodology and ethics which are important to the UK and our research sites.

We conduct our clinical trials programmes based on informed consent, compensation and perceptions. Our aim is to develop local and international policies by providing evidence-base recommendation for locally and internationally important issues
