AHRO Institute to Add Undergraduate Courses to Its Portfolio

AHRO Institute, based on consultations with stakeholders, has agreed to add undergraduate courses to its education portfolio. The following undergraduate courses are set to commence in September 2025.

In his end-of-year report, the Director-General, Prof. Yaro, outlined that the institute’s mission on education would now include undergraduate programs. During its initial phase of activities, AHRO Institute’s strategy was to focus on graduate programs. However, after extensive consultations, the institute has approved the introduction of undergraduate programs as part of its mission to play a prominent role in educating the next generation of scholars.

The following programs will commence in 2025:

  • BA (Hons) Sociology
  • BSc (Hons) Business Management
  • BSc (Hons) Psychology
  • BSc (Hons) Project Management
  • BSc (Hons) Cyber Security
  • BSc (Hons) Digital Marketing
  • BSc (Hons) Computer Science
  • BSc (Hons) Artificial Intelligence
  • BSc (Hons) Bioinformatics
  • BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care

Foundation programs will also be launched to help students prepare for degree-level studies.

“Our undergraduate programs will inspire our students to engage in groundbreaking discoveries, challenge the status quo, and reach their full potential,” Prof. Yaro assured.

Meanwhile, a committee has been formed to advise the Director-General on undergraduate courses, including their modes of delivery.
